A progesterona tem muitos efeitos benéficos que vamos aprender hoje, principalmente afinando o revestimento uterino, o que neutraliza o espessamento do estrogênio no revestimento uterino e pode ajudar a prevenir menstruações.
Outro efeito benéfico da progesterona é que ela acalma o cérebro e pode, portanto, reduzir a ansiedade e promover o sono. A progesterona também reduz a inflamação, normaliza a função imunológica, constrói ossos, protege o coração, aumenta a taxa metabólica e pode ajudar a prevenir o câncer de mama.
